Excavation Operative Wanted

We are seeking an experienced excavation operative to join our team for a major earthworks project.

  • This is a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster position.
  • On-site accommodation and meals will be provided.
  • A competitive rate of pay is offered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating mobile plant equipment such as graders and dozers.
  • Carrying out daily operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment.
  • Completing daily pre-start checks on plant.
  • Participating in daily toolbox talks.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of Amcor Excavations' workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • FOLLOWING ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE SITE SUPERVISOR.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience operating plant equipment.
  • A current white card.
  • The use of initiative, a proactive approach and an organised method of work.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale earthworks project in Queensland.
