Job Title: Wellbeing Team Leader

This role requires a clinician with a background in nursing or social work and experience in transformational leadership and managing a team through change.

The Team Leader - Wellbeing manages a team that provides high-quality support to veterans and their families. The role involves undertaking day-to-day responsibility of team management along with representing and promoting Service Delivery with the veteran community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team that provides high-quality support to veterans and their families
  • Representing and promoting Service Delivery with the veteran community
  • Developing Wellbeing services in line with quality and accreditation standards

Requirements:

  • A degree in Human Services or Health Sciences or an equivalent (essential)
  • 2 to 3+ years experience as a team leader
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism, organisational compliance, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, lead and motivate staff to achieve high-quality outcomes and build strong work culture and engagement
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy when working in highly sensitive environments and situations
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in person-centred and strength-based case management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound time management skills and a proven ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to foster mutually beneficial professional relationships and outcomes
