Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships in the IT outsourcing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT outsourcing market.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand our client base.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Client Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their IT outsourcing needs and objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to propose tailored IT outsourcing solutions that meet client requirements.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities for growth.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaboration and Leadership:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including delivery, operations, and finance to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in IT sales and business development, specifically in IT outsourcing services and SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of IT outsourcing market trends, competitive dynamics, and client buying behavior.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Fluency in German and English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Masters Degree in Business, MBA or similar.
  • Willingness to travel in the DACH region as needed.
