Job Title: Rehabilitation Counsellor

Description:

Are you looking for a rewarding career in rehabilitation? We have an exciting opportunity for a Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team in Melbourne on a full-time or part-time basis. As a Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help individuals return to work and achieve their goals.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a degree and relevant professional registration in Rehab Counselling, or Social Work. You will also need to be willing to travel and have a current vehicle and driver's license. In addition, you will need to demonstrate a determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake initial needs assessments
  • Conduct psychological worksite assessments
  • Perform vocational assessments
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and strategies to overcome these
  • Design, implement and review programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce
