Logistics Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating road transport logistics, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and providing reporting on freight costings, tonnages, and storage capacities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional to develop their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute logistics operations to meet contractual requirements.
  • Process customer deliveries efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide regular reports on logistics activities.
  • Collaborate with carriers and third-party stakeholders.
  • Manage inventory and contract management systems.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination/management.
  • Good understanding of post-farm-gate agricultural enterprises.
  • Experience with cotton and/or grain logistics is highly regarded.
  • Sound understanding of AP/AR principles.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
