Job Summary:
The Community Resilience Lead will oversee the development and implementation of community resilience strategies in response to disasters, crises, and incidents. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of community resilience strategic plans.
- Collaborate with local councils and key partner agencies to support community activities and disaster management responses.
- Provide strategic advice and support to Senior Leaders on community resilience services.
- Review and modify established practices, processes, and policies to enhance preparedness and response to disaster events.
- Assess and analyze disaster events to inform matters of concern and identify service gaps in the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A current open driver's license is required.
- Experience in community building, resilience planning, and disaster recovery.
