Disaster Response Specialist

The multidisciplinary team works closely with family members, individuals, carers and professionals to provide clinical care and support in times of disaster and trauma.

Team members utilise high-level knowledge and skills to deliver community outreach services, including advice, assessments and interventions, as well as collaborative care planning and group work, in accordance with relevant standards and legislative requirements.

This role is part of a post-disaster mental health recovery team, supporting communities and individuals to recover after a disaster. It requires advanced clinical knowledge, problem-solving and community development skills, and knowledge of contemporary clinical practice standards for optimal outcomes.
