Job Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Field Research Officer, working on a government travel study in and around the Sunshine Coast.

This position is ideal for applicants with flexible schedules, including university students, self-employed individuals, semi-retired persons, and parents working around school hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit households to participate in the study by approaching pre-selected addresses
  • Conduct short questionnaires and place travel diaries with household members
  • Make appointments to return to households and assist in completing travel diaries
  • Demonstrate basic computer skills and accurately record call outcomes on a tablet

Requirements

  • Availability to work weekends and weekdays, including two required weekday evening shifts from 3 pm to 6 pm
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle and current driver's license
  • An understanding of computers, mobile phones, or tablets at a basic to intermediate level
  • A professional appearance and friendly attitude

Benefits

The opportunity to work on various projects once established as a skilled Field Research Officer.

Rosters will be provided one month in advance for easy planning and coordination.

Fieldwork will cease during school holidays and for one week preceding and succeeding these periods.
