Field Research Officer Role

About the Job:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Field Research Officer to work on a long-running government Travel study in Logan.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, working independently and have strong communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Approach pre-selected addresses, recruit households to participate in the study, complete questionnaires, place travel diaries and make appointments to assist with diary completion.
  • Be proficient in using a tablet to accurately record outcomes of every call.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work weekdays and weekends (including evening shifts).
  • A National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
  • A reliable car and current driver's license.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of computers, mobile phones or tablets.
  • Desirable but not necessary: interviewing experience.
