Liaison Officer – Community Engagement

This role is focused on establishing effective links between home and school related issues.
- Developing and implementing strategic approaches to facilitate communication between parents, teachers, and the community.
- Facilitating opportunities for parental concerns and promoting equity in service provision.
- Enhancing liaison activities to provide information to parents, the school, and its community.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering public presentations, informing and educating parents and community members about educational trends and policies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for establishing and monitoring school and community networks, developing and maintaining a register of community and classroom helpers, and assisting in recruiting and resourcing volunteer help.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with parents, teachers, and the community. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with significant experience in community engagement, education, or a related field being highly desirable.
