EHST Advisor

This role plays a pivotal part in driving excellence in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Technology (EHST) across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, influencing operational leaders and team members to adopt best practices that enhance EHST outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the EHST team to develop and deliver impactful activities and results-driven initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance to EHS&T Officers on incident investigations, risk assessments, and project work, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Promote a unified company-wide culture, providing functional support services that drive business success.
  • Nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, unlocking benefits for the organization.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of EHST data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Utilize innovative technologies to enhance EHST reporting and outcomes.
  • Offer coaching and mentorship on EHST requirements and standards, ensuring compliance and excellence.
  • Facilitate comprehensive ICAM and 5 why investigations to pinpoint failures and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in EHS.
  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Proven track record working across the resource industry and related sectors.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive recommendations for improvement.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
