Regional Health Director Role

This position is a pivotal leadership opportunity where you can make a significant impact on workplace safety.

About the Job:

  • As Regional Health Director, you will lead a team to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies across multiple sites.
  • You will work closely with the regional lead team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and implementing global and regional health and safety initiatives, sharing best practices across sites and regions, and contributing to the evolution of global health and safety strategies.
  • You will also provide governance oversight and opportunities for improvement, staying up-to-date with emerging risks and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree and proven track record in health and safety leadership roles.
  • Experience working across multiple locations within the mining/metals industry or heavy industry.
  • Knowledgeable about fatality prevention programs, regulatory requirements, and key prevention activities necessary to keep workers safe in high-risk industrial settings.
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate at all levels of an organization to drive strategic objectives.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for creating high-performance teams.
