Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Professional Opportunity

This role will drive service excellence on a globally acclaimed radio telescope project. As a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Advisor, you will oversee day-to-day safety across multiple work fronts and influence work crews in a challenging construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement HSE&Q Management Plans and drive innovative HSE initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders at Pre-Start Consultations, Toolbox Meetings, hazard, and risk reviews.
  • Conduct site inspections and task-based assessments, report findings, and ensure the implementation of corrective actions as required.
  • Manage registers, training records, and site safety systems to maintain compliance.
  • Investigate incidents and collaborate with the Project Management team to implement corrective actions and improve safety performance.
  • Work closely with the project management team to develop and implement project-specific management plans aligned with client standards.

About You:

  • Hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment qualification.
  • Have 4+ years' experience as an HSE Advisor in construction projects on remote sites.
  • Possess strong attention to detail, communication, and report writing skills.
  • Be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and be well-organized, focused, and productive.
  • Have a valid driver's license and current first aid qualification.
