Electrical Technician Role

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our team at Australia's largest gas-fired combined cycle power station.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging role that involves performing routine and emergency maintenance to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks as required.
  • Support major and minor outages, including planning, scheduling, and hands-on execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using CMMS and diagnostic tools.
  • Prepare work method statements and manage spare parts and resources.
  • Respond to call-outs and support extended hours during outages.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Electrical trade qualifications (essential).
  • Experience in power generation or heavy industry (CCGT, coal, hydro, refinery) is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of PTW systems and CMMS tools.
  • Proven commitment to safety, compliance, and team collaboration.
