Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Overview
Permanent Monday to Friday role, level commensurate with experience. Dalby or Chinchilla residential role, based at our Darling Downs Power Station.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and emergency maintenance to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.
Support major and minor outages, including planning, scheduling, and hands-on execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues using CMMS and diagnostic tools.
Prepare work method statements, risk assessments, and manage spare parts and resources.
Respond to call-outs and support extended hours during outages, including potential night shifts.
What will you bring?
Electrical trade qualifications (essential); HV switching, Beamex, and Cert III Instrumentation (desirable).
Experience in power generation or heavy industry (CCGT, coal, hydro, refinery).
Strong understanding of PTW systems and CMMS tools.
Proven commitment to safety, compliance, and team collaboration.
