Job Opportunity: Power Generation Technician

Origin is seeking a skilled Power Generation Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to powering homes and leading Australia's energy transition.

This permanent role is based at our Darling Downs Power Station, where you will be part of a residential role in Dalby or Chinchilla. You will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • Educated in an electrical trade (essential); HV switching, Beamex, and Cert III Instrumentation (desirable).
  • Experience in power generation or heavy industry (CCGT, coal, hydro, refinery).
  • A strong understanding of PTW systems and CMMS tools.
  • A proven commitment to safety, compliance, and team collaboration.
