Job Overview: This role is critical in supporting quality assurance and compliance for vocational education and training products.

The purpose of this position is to review assessment tools and mapping documents against training package requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Validate training and assessment tools for units of competency from multiple qualifications.
  • Review mapping documentation to ensure alignment with unit and training package requirements.
  • Assess tools for compliance with national standards for RTOs.
  • Identify gaps in assessment and prepare validation reports.
  • Maintain accurate validation records.
  • Liaise with quality and resource development teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in validating VET training and assessment materials.
  • In-depth understanding of training package requirements.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills.

About the Role:

  • This is a self-directed role that requires strong time management and initiative.
  • You will work independently to meet delivery schedules.
  • Approximately 44 units require validation, estimated at 4-5 hours per unit.

Key Requirements:

  • Validating assessment materials in the Community Services, Health, or Animal Care sectors is desirable.
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms is beneficial.
