Marine Coral Husbandry Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Coral Husbandry Expert to join our team at UWorkin. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving excellence in the long-term holding and asexual/sexual propagation of high-value experimental corals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Deliver Training: Design and implement training programs for staff, interns, and volunteers on key coral husbandry issues.
- Mentorship and Staff Development: Mentor and guide Sea Sim husbandry staff, students, interns, and volunteers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring staff resources.
- Coral Holding System Management: Provide input into the operation, optimization, husbandry, and maintenance of high-value Sea Sim coral holding systems.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify and resolve Sea Sim coral holdings and system issues before they become critical.
To be successful in this role, you will require extensive coral husbandry experience in a professional or research setting. A Bachelor's degree in Marine Science or a related field, or extensive professional experience, is essential. Your excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate, and experience in training and development will be paired with your strong problem-solving skills.
What We Offer- Competitive Salary: AIMS AOF Level 4 salary ($93,934 to $106,895 per annum) plus 15.4% superannuation.
