Overview

High-profile projects within the construction, built environment, and infrastructure industries are available to work on. As an engineer with strong analytical skills and previous on-site construction experience, this is an opportunity to transition into a consulting lifestyle.

This role involves applying technical expertise to commercial advisory, construction claims, and being a resolution point for construction & costing disputes.

  • Work alongside experienced consultants, delay analysts, and quantity surveyors on claim preparation
  • Support the development of extensions of time, disruption claims, acceleration claims, and related matters
  • Undertake forensic reviews of project records and site inspections
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, construction methods, and procedures to identify claims opportunities
  • Draft contractual correspondence and provide contract administration and commercial advice
  • Collaborate with client project teams and legal professionals
Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated problem solver with:

  • An engineering degree and at least 3 years' construction industry experience (site-based experience highly valued)
  • Exposure to contracts and claims processes
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
