We are currently seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our Industrial Refrigeration team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong background in sales and industrial refrigeration experience. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop short- and long-range sales plans and prepare strategies to achieve nominated targets.
  • Manage all elements of the sales process, including SFDC, legal review, and bid management.
  • Provide information to management regarding the IR industry and recommend plans to maximise future business.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Sales, or related area desirable but not essential.
  • 3+ years appropriate sales experience.
  • Industrial Refrigeration experience with Products and solution sales.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent Leadership skills, strategic thinker, demonstrated accountability.
  • Excellent negotiating skills, able to achieve the win – win solution.
  • Excellent influencer at all organisational levels, including the ability to develop credibility and trust quickly with senior managers/decision makers.
  • Excellent networking skills.
