About the Role

Gordon Brothers Industries, a leading industrial refrigeration company in Australia, is seeking an experienced industrial refrigeration technician to join their team. Based in Acacia Ride, QLD, this role offers a unique opportunity for a self-motivated and reliable individual to work on a wide range of industrial refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and unplanned service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Accurately complete required paperwork related to work performed, maintaining high standards of documentation.
  • Foster and maintain professional working relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Comply with all site safety, company, and statutory policies and procedures at all times, prioritizing a safe working environment.
  • Participate in company-facilitated training and service meetings as required, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • Be a qualified or experienced refrigeration mechanic, with a strong understanding of industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Possess a current valid driver's license, ensuring safe and efficient transportation to job sites.
  • Possess a current ARC license, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards and regulations.
  • Possess a current Restricted Electrical license, showcasing a high level of technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in industrial refrigeration, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong work ethic, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
  • Good presentation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience working individually and in a team, with a strong ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Ammonia experience preferred but not essential, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Positive and proactive approach to safety, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
