Support Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Family Practitioner to join our team in Clare, South Australia.
The successful applicant will be responsible for working with children and families at risk of harm, neglect, and family violence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage high-risk families through assessment, case management, and therapeutic intervention.
- Work collaboratively with parents, other programs, and partner agencies to strengthen parents' ability to support their children's safety and wellbeing.
- Provide case management and targeted interventions to improve outcomes for families with children up to six years old experiencing safety concerns related to parenting and child safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An appropriate Social Work qualification or equivalent registration with the Australian Association of Social Work, Psychology Board of Australia, or Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- A National Police Check and Employment-related Screening Check.
- A current Australian driver's licence (minimum class C) and vaccination against COVID-19.
This position is part of the Child and Family Support System reform aimed at reducing intergenerational trauma and increasing the number of children able to be cared for safely in their homes.
