Join Our Laboratory Team as a Sampling Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laboratory Assistant. This role involves performing sampling, inspection, monitoring, and testing procedures for all salt and brine samples against specifications.
- Assist with and conduct required sampling, inspection, monitoring, and testing of all salt and brine samples against specifications; as per relevant classification in Enterprise Bargaining Agreement; including support for other sites.
- Ensure ongoing maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Monitoring of site wash brine.
- Support manufacturing departments by preparing and supplying additives for use in production.
- Review and develop internal HSEQ and laboratory procedures and provide training to relevant staff.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of both internal and external complaints.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Completion of Year 11 with a pass in Mathematics, Science, and English.
- Excellent computer literacy especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience and/or working knowledge of HACCP.
- Drivers Licence.
- Organisational and planning skills.
- Investigation skills with the ability to identify root cause.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Interpersonal/communication skills.
- Strong Teamwork and self-starting.
