Job Overview

The Department of Home Affairs is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Border Force Officer to join our team in Canberra, ACT.

About the Role

  • Maintaining situational awareness and providing timely reporting

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational effectiveness
  • Providing guidance and support to team members to ensure successful outcomes

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Australian citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
