Salary


Australian Border Force Leading Border Force Officer positions come with an attractive remuneration package, including a salary ranging from $74,049.00 to $79,871.00 per year, depending on experience and location, plus 15.4% superannuation benefits (part-time pro-rata).



About the Job


We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Australian Border Force Leading Border Force Officers in various locations, including ACT. As a leading border force officer, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for delivering operational objectives through coordination, prioritization, and delivery of activities and response actions nationally.



Key Responsibilities



  • Work collaboratively to build and sustain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain a capability to support a Government response to a range of incidents and major events.
  • Contribute to a positive work culture and support changing circumstances and organisational focus.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and aptitude for decision-making.
  • Prioritize workload to achieve a positive outcome within a short timeframe and maintain situational awareness of all correspondence.


Requirements



  • Australian citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance.
  • ABF Workers will also require an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC), while Home Affairs Workers will need an Onboarding Check.
