About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Latitude Financial Services. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of our payroll services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embedding the Outsourced Payroll Model: Successfully implement and maintain the partially outsourced payroll model, ensuring seamless integration with our internal processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our outsourced payroll providers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Payroll Query Resolution: Troubleshoot and respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing employee experience.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement frameworks, policies, and procedures to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
  • Operational Support: Provide high-quality payroll services and advice to business stakeholders, supporting decision-making and business operations.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and initiatives that enhance the employee and leader experience related to payroll.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity in our HRIS (Workday) and other HR platforms, working closely with People Operations and Reward teams.
  • Integration and Mapping: Manage the integration of data across multiple HR platforms, including Workday, Chris21, and Time & Attendance, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate payroll processing.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or Law, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Payroll Knowledge: Sound knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Experience: Experience working within and managing an outsourced payroll model, with proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems (e.g., Workday or similar, Chris21).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to concisely generate and communicate insights from data.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Execution Skills: Proven execution skills, with a solution-focused mindset and the ability to own tasks and follow through to completion.
