Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Latitude Financial Services. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of our payroll services, working closely with our outsourced payroll provider, Frontier Software.
Key Responsibilities- Embed and maintain the partially outsourced payroll model, identifying opportunities for further efficiency and process improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our payroll providers, building strong working relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing the employee experience.
- Develop and implement frameworks, policies, and processes to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide high-quality payroll services and advice to business stakeholders, supporting decision-making and driving business outcomes.
- Support the delivery of projects and initiatives that enhance the employee and leader experience related to payroll.
- Prepare and analyze data, reports, and analytics to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with People Operations and Reward teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity in our HRIS and payroll systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or Law, or equivalent professional experience.
- Sound knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations.
- Experience working within and managing an outsourced payroll model.
- Proficient in MS Excel, with advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, charts, and VLOOKUP.
- Strong knowledge of HR Systems, including Workday and Chris21.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to generate and communicate insights from data.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
