Sustainable packaging solutions are in high demand, and we are looking for a Supply Chain Professional to lead our site's operations.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in planning, purchasing, and logistics who wants to make a real impact on the environment.

  • Manage all supply chain activities at the Melbourne site, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including loading schedules, goods receipt, and stock control.
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure machine downtime is minimized.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, and excellent computer skills in MS Office, Excel, and Word.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update production schedules that integrate sales forecasts, plant capability, inventory holdings, and maintenance requirements.
  • Review daily delivery schedules and notify relevant parties about late deliveries.
  • Monitor production output, inventory levels, customer orders, material supplies, and trends to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Create new product codes and maintain accurate Bills of Materials and routes.
  • Maintain Manufacturing Orders from creation to completion.
  • Lead sites inventory stocktake schedule.
  • Create Purchase Orders based on MRP requirements.
  • Track and follow up on POs imminently due and overdue.
  • Ensure smooth operations by overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Requirements:

  • Depth of experience in a Planning senior role within a 24/5 manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • High computer skills in MS Office, Excel, Word, and Emails.
  • Personal drive and results-orientation.
  • Ability to work outside standard hours when required.
  • Visible belief and demonstrated leadership in a Zero Harm culture.
  • Ability to remain resilient, calm, and composed when under pressure.
