The role of the School Engagement and Partnerships Coordinator involves empowering young people across Queensland through education and action on social justice. This position requires a passionate and experienced facilitator or educator who can deliver impactful school-based programs and workshops to raise awareness of social justice issues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver impactful school-based programs and workshops that inspire student engagement and connection with our mission.
- Engage with school communities to build meaningful partnerships and foster awareness of the issues facing young people today.
- Support the development and delivery of campaigns that promote youth empowerment and social justice.
- Assist in building relationships with state educational bodies, predominately primary and secondary schools.
You are an experienced educator or facilitator with a deep commitment to youth empowerment and social justice. You're a confident communicator who thrives in front of a student audience and values strong school partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in education, communications, youth or community work-or equivalent experience-are essential.
- Confident facilitation skills with proven experience delivering school workshops and strong knowledge of the education system.
- Skilled in relationship management, building and maintaining meaningful school partnerships.
- Passionate about service learning and social justice.
- Strong admin and communication skills ensuring positive stakeholder experiences.
