We are seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to delivering high-quality services to people with disabilities.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have the ability to work in a flexible, community-based role and choose their days of work. They will also have the opportunity to manage a caseload that aligns with their areas of interest.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments across emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions.
- Develop individualised therapy goals and interventions based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide expert advice on environmental modifications for homes, schools, workplaces, and residential settings.
- Recommend and facilitate Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence and empowerment.
- Stay up-to-date with current legislation and NDIS guidelines to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional support and services.
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A proactive and client-centred mindset with a desire to innovate and grow.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability and community sector.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- An interest in paediatrics, complex needs, or a preferred caseload area.
