About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Packaging Solutions Developer to join our technical team. This role focuses on creating innovative packaging solutions, optimizing existing product lines, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, validate, and implement packaging solutions for new and existing products
- Liaise with suppliers to explore alternative packaging materials and technologies
- Deliver improvements to new and existing products through scientific trials and risk mitigation
- Foster sustainability in packaging by exploring recyclable materials and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Science with a specialisation in packaging or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience using technical knowledge of packaging materials
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
- Strong strategic project management skills with planning, organisation, and prioritisation abilities
