Packaging Technologist Role Overview

The Packaging Technologist position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative packaging solutions. This role plays a key part in ensuring the technical integrity of our packaging portfolio across ANZ and Asia markets.

As a key member of our packaging function, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to determine and validate all technical aspects of packaging.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring data integrity for our packaging portfolio
  • Supporting the design of new packaging products alongside our sourcing team and manufacturing partners
  • Contributing to sustainable packaging initiatives
  • Working with cross-functional teams on packaging solutions that best support product launches
  • Supporting quality teams on packaging-related quality challenges and implementing recommended solutions

We seek an experienced professional with a minimum of 2+ years' experience in packaging development within FMCG or similar industries. The ideal candidate will have developed packaging solutions using various materials, with experience working with rigid plastics being a significant advantage.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., packaging technology, engineering, science)
  • Proven experience in packaging development, including design and testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
