The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Implementation Leadership Program Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and success of one or more implementation programs, supervising managers, and providing updates on progress and performance to executives. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of program management principles, experience leading organizations through transformational change, and the ability to build relationships and engage effectively at executive and C-suite levels.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the business owner responsible for the successful delivery of the program, operating as the senior conduit between the client and State Street
  • Consult with Clients to understand their strategy, business objectives, operating model needs, and challenges. Provide subject matter expertise and industry experience to lead Alpha solution discussions
  • Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Oversee and approve program plans inclusive of State Street, client, and critical 3rd party tasks
  • Evaluate program milestones and dependencies to ensure they support agreed-upon scope and timeline
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasting, and resource allocations for the program
  • Establish Project Governance both internally and with the client, ensuring all stakeholders are communicated with frequently and appropriately
  • Drive the client, internal stakeholders, and critical 3rd parties to execute against their tasks and milestones; drive proper governance and program reporting
  • Promote a high-performing culture across the program teams, where people operate to deliver client outcomes with a One State Street mindset
  • Supervise all program and project managers involved, providing feedback and resolving complex problems
  • Implement standard change control processes, deploy, and maintain risk, issue, and decision logs
  • Ensure program activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
  • BUILD AND MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE CLIENT AND ALL STAKEHOLDERS
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce implementation time, improve quality, and enhance the client experience, enabling faster revenue recognition

Education and Preferred Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess demonstrated experience leading large transformational programs, a strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including back office functions, and experience with front-to-back investment servicing and operations functions. Knowledge of front and middle office technology is an advantage, as is experience with Agile software development, highly configurable systems, and leading testing techniques.



$150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
