Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the implementation of new investment business programs at State Street AlphaSM.

Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership: Act as the senior conduit between clients and State Street, ensuring successful program delivery and maximum value addition.
  • Client Engagement: Consult with clients to understand their strategy, business objectives, operating model needs, and challenges, providing subject matter expertise and industry experience to lead Alpha solution discussions.
  • Goal Setting and Oversight: Initiate and set goals for programs aligned with the organization's strategic objectives, overseeing and approving program plans inclusive of State Street, client, and critical 3rd party tasks.
  • Milestone Management: Ensure program milestones and dependencies support agreed-upon scope and timeline, developing and monitoring budgets, forecasting, and resource allocations for the program.
  • Governance and Communication: Establish Project Governance both internally and with the client, ensuring all stakeholders are communicated with frequently and appropriately.
  • Culture and Performance: Drive a high-performing culture across program teams, supervising program and project managers, providing feedback, and resolving complex problems.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to bring together teams across different levels and disciplines within the organization.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Outstanding presentation, communication (oral & written), and relationship building skills across all levels of management.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Curiosity, strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship management skills.
  • Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery, and implementation of front, middle, back office, and data solutions within the investment management industry.
  • Education and Qualifications: Demonstrated experience leading large transformational programs, strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, and knowledge of front and middle office technology.
