**Job Title:** Stormwater Maintenance Worker

This role plays a vital part in safeguarding Hobart's stormwater systems and waterways, protecting our city and environment for future generations.

The successful candidate will contribute to the success of the City by assisting the Infrastructure Group in constructing, maintaining, and operating the Council's infrastructure associated with the waterways and stormwater network in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

  • Operate plant and machinery in accordance with operations manuals and directions given by the Team Leader.
  • Respond to queries and questions from the public professionally and courteously.
  • Undertake day-to-day onsite work, ensuring that allocated tasks are delivered efficiently, effectively, and to the expected quality standards.
