Visionary Infrastructure Specialist

PDA Surveyors, Engineers & Planners is a Tasmanian owned and operated business. We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team of highly skilled professionals who have a diverse range of specialist capabilities and provide exceptional service to our clients.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of civil engineering designs and investigations across a broad range of infrastructure projects, consisting mainly of roads, sewerage, water supply and stormwater drainage for both residential subdivisions and council infrastructure projects.
- Undertake detail design, prepare plans, specifications and estimates for civil design projects. Review all design documentation prepared and ensure it is correct, suitable for construction and in accordance with relevant standards and legislation.
- Monitor project plans to ensure objectives are being satisfied and provide timely advice to management on any anticipated delays affecting project commitments.
- Investigate, document and prepare applications for statutory approvals, conduct technical investigations and prepare reports on civil design projects.
- Work effectively and harmoniously as part of the engineering team and contribute to team-based activities that may include project planning, support and quality improvement projects.
