About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Southern Cross Care, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality health and wellness services to our community clients.
About the Position
This is a permanent part-time position available for 45 hours per fortnight. You will be working at our Health & Wellness centers in Goolwa and Oakfield Rise, providing safe and effective massage therapy to older people, including those with multiple chronic conditions.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering evidence-based reablement pathways that promote client physical, social, and mental health benefits.
- Contributing positively to multi-disciplinary care planning for our clients.
- Designing and delivering massage therapies that match client needs.
- Engaging in case conferencing and problem-solving of complex care needs.
- Providing person-centred practice, service continuous improvement, evidence-based treatment, and service delivery.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a minimum Diploma Qualification in Massage Therapy Practice and current registration with either Association of Massage Therapists or Massage & Myotherapy Australia. You must be highly resilient and passionate about supporting clients towards better health.
You should be equally comfortable working autonomously as well as within a collaborative team environment. Excellent listening, communication, and time management skills are essential, along with a willingness to drive innovative practice.
