Job Description

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to our members. You will work closely with them to understand their needs and preferences, and develop a tailored support plan to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to individuals with disability
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Accompanying individuals on outings and social activities
  • Maintaining accurate records of support provided

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A compassionate and non-judgmental approach to working with people with disability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
