Job Overview

This role requires an experienced Financial Manager looking to take the next step in their career, overseeing all financial aspects of a private residential developer's portfolio.

A newly created position and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in real estate & property finance and/or investment; capable of driving financial performance as well as ensuring internal compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards (with assistance from internal and external accountants to manage the process)
  • Project Management: budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, project and variation analysis, feasibility studies
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Oversee funding requirements to ensure liquidity across projects and managing financial risk
  • Process Implementation & Strategic Support: Implement processes and internal controls for the financial operations, working together with senior leadership to support decision making and business recommendations
  • Team Leadership and Management: Support and manage the internal Project and Financial Accounting Team, along with the CFO and mentor junior team members in their growth and understanding.
Requirements

This role requires a Finance professional with experience in real estate and property finance, skilled in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with excellent communication and leadership abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements. A deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices is essential.
