About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for providing administration support across the team, including updating and maintaining our HR systems, compliance reporting, internal staff inquiries, external inquiries from stakeholders, general P&C administration, and project-based tasks.


Key Responsibilities
  • HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including updating and maintaining HR systems, generating reports, and performing data entry tasks.
  • Compliance Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely completion of compliance reports, including workers' compensation claims, training records, and performance management documentation.
  • Internal Staff Inquiries: Respond to internal staff inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • External Inquiries: Handle external inquiries from stakeholders, including candidates, employees, and suppliers, in a professional and courteous manner.
  • General Administration: Perform general administrative tasks, such as preparing meeting minutes, taking notes, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Project-Based Tasks: Participate in project-based initiatives, such as developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and processes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency Status: Essential (we do not offer sponsorship for this particular role)
  • Full-Time Availability: 5 days in the office Monday – Friday until confident on systems, then hybrid working 3 days office, 2 days from home thereafter
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience working in administrator roles, ideally in HR capacity
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping and communication with key parties
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable picking up and working on various systems
  • Patient Attention to Detail: Patients and attention to detail is essential
  • First Point of Contact: Confidence being the first point of contact for all enquires into the department
  • Qualifications/Certifications: Desirable although not essential would be any HR related certifications or qualifications
