IMA Management and Technology is a leading provider of management and technology services. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Melbourne.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead complex projects involving extensive engagement and management of external stakeholders, and reporting to Steering Committees. The successful candidate will have proven experience in delivering technology and business process related projects with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project controls including schedule, risks and issues, budget, reporting, communication/status reporting, change request management, etc.
  • Manage Project teams including internal SMEs to deliver their work as well as external stakeholder management.
  • Monitor project procedures and produce reports in line with industry best practice.
  • Contribute to the development, standardisation and implementation of project methodology.
  • Promote good project management practices across the business.
  • Working knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK and AGILE methodologies and demonstrated experience in use of appropriate project methodologies.
  • Experience in the implementation and running of a PMO would be highly regarded.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in delivering complex projects involving extensive engagement and management of external stakeholders, and reporting to Steering Committees.
  • Experience in technology and business process related projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK and AGILE methodologies and demonstrated experience in use of appropriate project methodologies.
  • Experience in the implementation and running of a PMO would be highly regarded.
  • Commercially astute with outstanding communication skills and highly developed time management skills.
  • Ability to build sustainable, productive relationships both internally and externally.
