About the Role:

Project Redirect Inc Of The District is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate the IT delivery for a significant redevelopment project. The project includes the development of a new Palliative Care Unit and the relocation of the Day Surgery Unit at a major hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, scoping, and execution of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance for the implementation of key infrastructure components, including telecommunications, Wi-Fi networks, nurse call systems, and PC deployments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, hospital staff, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery of IT services that meet healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee project progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery while meeting quality standards and project milestones.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of IT infrastructure components within the project scope.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong background in managing IT infrastructure projects in a hospital environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific technologies, such as nurse call systems and hospital-grade Wi-Fi networks.
  • Excellent project management skills with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
