Job Title: Agricultural Sales Advisor

We are seeking a motivated and experienced agricultural sales advisor to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a strong understanding of the agricultural industry.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on agricultural products and services, building business partnerships with customers, and achieving sales targets.

  • Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on agricultural products and services.
  • Proactively source new customers to achieve branch KPI's and sales targets.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receipting, stocktake and dispatch.
  • Process sales and generate quotes.
  • Operate a forklift and make customer deliveries.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong customer service and sales experience.
  • Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry.
  • Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health or Agronomy.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy skills including Microsoft office, point of sale software (POS) and administration skills.
  • Physically fit to perform manual handling tasks.
  • A strong focus on Work Health & Safety.
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
  • HV licence highly beneficial.
