The Opportunity

Come across the ditch and join EML in any one of our Australian offices. Every day, our case managers help coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate an injured worker's recovery and return to work.

  • Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers, and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy.
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations, and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery.
  • Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments.
  • Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team.
About You
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is essential.
  • An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer-centric support is critical.
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills is required.
  • Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy is necessary.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills are also required.
  • A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently is ideal.
