Fixed term until 4 February 2026
As the Recovery Case Coordinator – Psychological (Mental Injury), you will:
- Support employees to recover and return to work using your skills and knowledge of recovery from mental injuries
- Provide development and regular review of return-to-work plans
- Liaise with health professionals, specialists, leaders, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes
- Attend fire stations and other work locations statewide
- Proactively provide advice, education and training to key stakeholders in the areas of rehabilitation, return to work and workers compensation, and provide ongoing support to the organisation
A strong work ethic, passion for helping the community, teamwork, integrity, accountability and respect are values Fire Rescue Victoria admires.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in an allied health related field
- Experience managing complex psychological injuries
- Extensive understanding of workers compensation claims management and the relevant legislation
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders
- A current valid driver's license
