As a vital member of our Procurement Department, you will play a key role in driving business growth and supporting company initiatives. Your diverse and varied role will involve collaborating with global teams to uncover innovative solutions and streamline supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess a certificate or diploma in travel, tourism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. You will have 2+ years of relevant experience in a procurement or negotiation-focused role, or within the travel industry and/or hotel, supplier relations function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Procurement team with the development and execution of supplier programs
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with hoteliers and other suppliers
  • Assisting the team with documentation and data management for the Request for Pricing (RFP) process, including distribution and loading of supplier rate updates

Additional duties include actioning internal queries and issue escalations related to suppliers, providing solutions and liaising with staff and suppliers. You will work closely with Operations and Divisional heads on car and ground transport rates and queries, assist internally with rate checking and issue escalation and resolution.

Other responsibilities include collecting and storing hotel information on relevant database systems, ensuring smooth operation of back-office systems related to suppliers, and ensuring data accuracy. You will also assist the Procurement team in collating supplier reports from Tramada and TAG Desktop.

Required skills and qualifications include advanced Microsoft Excel skills, advanced customer service skills, advanced change management skills, and advanced time management skills. Knowledgeable about APAC hotels, specifically destinations close to major venues, is also essential.
