About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Facilities Manager to join our team in Sydney CBD. As a key member of our Global Workplace Solutions division, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Sydney, Melbourne, and New Zealand office spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage planned maintenance and workplace functions across multiple sites.
  • Liaise with contractors, landlords, and key client stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Assist with budgeting and reporting to ensure financial transparency.
  • Oversee the work of the Facilities Coordinator and provide guidance on event coordination, mailroom activities, and purchase orders/invoicing.
  • Manage the on-site food program and cleaning vendor to ensure high standards of service.
  • Ensure compliance with fire regulations and associated building codes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and operations, sharing best practices with the Facilities team.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to CBRE staff, client stakeholders, and external contractors.
Requirements
  • Essential: Facilities Manager experience with a focus on soft services.
  • Essential: Ability to work autonomously and be the key FM contact for the region.
  • Essential: Fun, friendly, charismatic, and sociable attitude.
  • Preferred: Experience with minor projects, such as renovations, office fit-outs, and equipment upgrades.
  • Preferred: Experience managing direct reports.
  • Full working rights in Australia for a permanent position.
