Mental Wellbeing Specialist

Our organisation's mission is to improve young people's access and engagement with education through developing their mental wellbeing.
This is achieved through individualised support pathways, including psychological intervention, counselling and case management support.
The Case Worker provides assessment and support services to students and their families, aimed at reducing barriers to education and building positive engagement.
Key duties include:
- Providing individualised assessment and support services;
- Designing and delivering preventative group programs;
- Developing staff capabilities by delivering our wellbeing framework;
- Supporting students' learning by coordinating support and assistance pathways.
Essential qualifications and skills include:
- Tertiary qualifications in social work or human services;
- Highly developed skills and experience in working with young people to provide individualised support;
- Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based assessment and support for young people experiencing difficulties related to mental health and/or disability.
Desirable qualifications and skills include postgraduate tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling or education.
As a Case Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of our students and helping them to achieve their full potential.
