Loader Operator Job Summary

This position involves operating a loader to feed materials into a crushing plant. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the loader to feed materials into the crushing plant
  • Load finished aggregate into customer trucks when required
  • Inspect and manage inbound rubble stream as well as stockpiles
  • Assist the crushing plant operator with routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Perform daily safety equipment inspections and routine loader maintenance
  • Develop skills through onsite training to become the backup Telsmith crusher plant operator

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 3-5 years of experience as a loader operator
  • Welding and mechanical skills
  • Safety conscious and self-motivated
  • Excellent customer service skills
