Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Loader Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the 988 Loader to feed the Telsmith Crushing Plant with recycled concrete and asphalt rubble.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Ensure personal safety and the safety of others at all times">
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers">
  • Operate the 988 Loader to feed the crushing plant">
  • Load finished aggregate into customer trucks when required">
  • Inspect and manage inbound rubble streams and stockpiles efficiently">
  • Assist the crushing plant operator in routine maintenance, repairs, and plant inspections">
  • Conduct daily safety equipment inspections and loader maintenance">
  • Develop skills to become a backup Telsmith crusher plant operator through onsite training">
  • Maintain environmental records and infrastructure throughout the branch site">
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

">
  • ">
  • Equivalent high school diploma (GED) is required">
  • Loader operator experience, welding, mechanical skills, being safety conscious, self-motivated, and providing excellent customer service are essential">
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Loader operator for a machine similar to the 980 or 988 (or equal)">

The following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills and strong welding and mechanical abilities">
  • 8 years of experience as a Loader Operator and crusher experience would be beneficial">
